12V 50A Battery to Battery Charger.

This is a very interesting and clever product. It is produced by a company called Sterling Power Products. In short the battery to battery charger works by monitoring the vehicles main starter battery and when this is fully charged will then take up to 50Amps from the vehicles alternator and charge the vehicles leisure batteries. The charger will maintain both sets of vehicle batteries when ever the engine is running. If you rely on your leisure batteries this is a fantastic piece of equipment which I highly rate.

If required a power management panel can be installed to your leisure batteries, this displays the input and output current levels and voltage levels. Where most control panels in motor homes etc display the voltage of the batteries they don’t give the whole picture of how the power is being used. The power management panel can also display the amount of usable power left in the battery bank.
