Inverters

If like myself whilst while camping you like to use electrical equipment as you would whilst on mains power then a inverter is a piece of equipment you need.

An inverter will convert 12/24 volt dc (battery power) into 240 volt ac (house hold power). I can supply a wide range of inverters from small 100w units to larger 5000w units. There are several different types of inverters, they will all produce 240volts ac but some will do this better and ‘cleaner’ than others.

Before purchasing an inverter use must decide upon your individual power requirements, this can range from a small 100w unit which can be powered through a cigarette lighter to a larger unit that requires direct connection across the batteries. I personally use a 1000w modified sterling inverter and thoroughly recommend this range of invertors. I find that this 1000w inverter is more than capable of meeting all my power demands.
